Rear Admiral Gene F. Price
Reserve Deputy Commander, U.S. TENTH Fleet

Rear Admiral Gene F. Price received his commission as a Navy Reserve Intelligence officer in 1986. As a junior officer he served in a variety of assignments, including reserve analyst, targeter during the War in Kosovo, and Political Advisor to NATO’s Macedonian Ambassador. He assumed duties as Reserve Deputy Commander, U.S. Fleet Cyber Command/U.S. TENTH Fleet in December 2014.

Price was mobilized to the U.S. 5th Fleet in 2003, where he supported Operation Iraqi Freedom as chief of Iraqi Maritime Analysis. While there he led an analysis team in southern Iraq, and concluded his mobilization as chief of Intelligence Operations.

Price then commanded NR Naval Forces Central Command 0267, recognized as Navy Reserve Intelligence Command’s Unit of the Year in 2006.

He next commanded U.S. Pacific Command Joint Detachment Minneapolis, and then Navy Intelligence Reserve Region Southeast in Jacksonville, Florida, responsible for regional reserve intelligence manpower and training requirements.

Price was again mobilized in 2011 as senior U.S. Intelligence officer to Region North Afghanistan, where he led its Multinational Fusion Center. After redeployment he was assigned as deputy senior inspector, Information Dominance Corps Reserve Command, Fort Worth, Texas.

Price has received several awards and campaign medals. He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville and is a Partner with Frost Brown Todd LLC, a nationally-ranked law firm, specializing in ERISA and maritime law. He was recently selected by his peers as a member of “Best Lawyers in America."
