Commanding Officer 

Commander Jeff Buss, U.S. Navy, assumed command of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station, Sicily, on 02 Aug 2012. 

CDR Buss is a 1993 graduate of Marquette University with a degree in Finance.  He also holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Iowa, a MS degree in Information Technology Management from Touro University and a MS in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.  He is a certified Program Manager and is a member of the Space Cadre and Acquisition Professional Community.   

CDR Buss's career includes sea duty assignments at Electronic Attack Squadron-133, Commander Third Fleet, Combined Task Group 515.1/Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines and Combined Task Force 76/Expeditionary Strike Group 7.

His shore assignments include Electronic Attack Squadron-129, Naval Officer Recruiting Station Iowa City and the Naval Satellite Operation Center.

CDR Buss is authorized to wear the Meritorious Service Medal (3), Air Medal (Strike Flight), Joint Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (5), Navy Achievement Medal (4) and various campaign and service awards.
