 CIVILIAN LEADERSHIP IMPROVEMENT BATTERY 180

The Civilian Leader Improvement Battery (CLIMB) is a Web-based self-assessment tool to help you identify your leadership strengths and weaknesses. This two-part assessment tool includes a Personal Characteristics Assessment and a 180-degree Self-Supervisor Assessment. Before you begin a CLIMB assessment, you need to coordinate with your supervisor or mentor, whose input is required for the system to generate a feedback score report for you. After completing the assessment, you will receive narrative feedback and recommendations on competencies you need to improve in your leadership skills.

The assessment takes approximately 90 minutes for you to complete and 60 minutes for your supervisor or mentor to complete.

CLIMB is a collaborative tool for the Department of the Army and Department of the Navy. All Army and Navy personnel and anyone with a “.mil” email address is eligible to take the assessment.

More information is available on the CLIMB website under Questions and Answers.
