The Office of Civilian Human Resources has identified the current and future roles and competencies required for the Department’s HR professionals at each work level:
- Entry/Developmental
- Intermediate/Journey
- Expert
As a result of that effort, we have launched the HR Competency Model and the Learning Continuum that supports its implementation. The focus of our implementation strategy is to provide a common competency management framework and a standardized process for developing Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for our HR workforce.
