The Civilian Workforce Development Application (CWDA) is an online tool for Civilian Marines to use in their professional development. As a Civilian Marine, you can use the CWDA to review information about career paths; explore training and development opportunities; and track your career knowledge, skills, and experience required for your occupational series.
With the CWDA, you can create assessments of your proficiency in the competencies required for a specific position. You can conduct self-assessments that only you can view, or you can use standard assessments that will give you input from mentors, reviewers, and your supervisor. Information from the standard assessment will be maintained in your competency profile.
In addition, community members will be able to view other occupational series to find out which competencies, proficiencies, training, and education may be required to make a lateral career move.
The CWDA is part of the Civilian Workforce Management Initiative to implement the Civilian Workforce Campaign Plan.
