While you are in a nonpay status, you can continue your long term care insurance as long as you continue to pay the premiums. You cannot incur a debt for the premiums during the time you are in a nonpay status. You must keep your premium payments current in order to retain your coverage.

  1. If you are currently paying premiums through payroll deductions, you must contact Long Term Care Partners to notify them that you are entering a nonpay status and change your billing option to pay premiums directly or by automatic debit from your bank account.
  2. You must contact Long Term Care Partners when you return to a pay and duty status if you want to change your billing option to payroll deduction.
