Occasions For Wear

Worn year round for office work, watch- standing, liberty or business ashore when prescribed as uniform of the day. 

All existing service uniforms will continue to be authorized for wear until July 2010.  Sailors who have not been issued the new Service Uniform (SU) at Recruit Training Command (RTC) or purchased SU's while assigned to an active rollout location must maintain their current service uniforms until the SU is available in the area/ region assigned.
