CSADD Sea and Shore Chapters of the Year
Each year, one sea and shore CSADD chapter will be recognized as CSADD Chapter of the Year. The CSADD Chapter of the Year award was established to recognize the positive social interaction, leadership and decision making demonstrated through the CSADD effort, which employs a variety of communication tools and social networking created and sustained by the chapters. The overall objective is to foster a culture that sends a clear message discouraging destructive decision making and reinforcing the shipmate/bystander intervention concept.
A NAVADMIN will be released each year stating the criteria for award nominations. Any command with a CSADD chapter, or sub-chapter, is encouraged to nominate their chapter for this award. Nominations will be sent to the Regional CSADD Sponsor for the initial package review. A sea and shore chapter will then be selected as the Regional Chapter of the Year. All of the nominations that are selected as Regional Chapters of the Year will then go on to board for the Navy-wide Chapter of the Year. Results of the final board will be release via NAVADMIN announcing the winners.
