(FY11/Nov) Optimas Award for “Service” (Workforce Management Magazine) - Recognized Navy for Moms website and program as the single organization winner in the “Service” category of program excellence. The Service award is given to the organization whose workforce management leaders have created an initiative to help another constituency within the organization meet its business goals. Navy is the first organization in the award’s history to win in back-to-back years.

(FY12/Mar) Human Capital Management Defense (HCMD) Awards – Recognized Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), National Recruitment Program as the first place award winner in the Category of Most Innovative Recruitment Program. This award category recognizes the most innovative program in attracting top talent, implementing an effective recruitment strategy, and demonstrating improvements in the hiring process.
68. (FY12/Sep) Alfred P. Sloan Award – Recognized Fleet Intelligence Training Center (FITC) with the Award for Excellence in Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility. Since 2005, the Sloan Awards have been recognizing model employers of all types and sizes across the U.S. for their innovative and effective workplace practices. As a recipient of the 2012 Sloan Award, FITC ranks in the top 20% of employers nationally in terms of its programs, policies and culture for creating an effective and flexible workplace.

(FY13/Oct) Annual Diversity Council Honor Awards – Recognized Navy Office of Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Diversity Working Group in the second place spot during the 2012 Diversity Council Conference: Enhancing Performance – Increasing Value. In its fourth year, the prestigious Diversity Council Honors Award recognizes and awards the outstanding contributions and achievements of diversity council groups that lead organizational diversity processes and demonstrate results in their Workforce, Workplace and Marketplace. Navy took first place in the 2011 award listing.
