Functional Review Board 
 

The Functional Review Board (FRB) is an organizational management structure that will review and evaluate requests for new capabilities or changes to existing capabilities/business processes and supporting IT systems. 

Architectural lines of business have been developed to organize related enterprise functions into smaller more manageable groups (individual FRB's). FRB Chairs manage requests for new capabilities within the specific lines of business. 

All requests are submitted via a Request for Information Services (RIS) to the Information Manangement Office. The Project Management Support Branch (BUPERS 074) provides a single point of entry for change requests for information services and tracks requests from receipt to disposition, as well as advising business line leaders in managing the FRB process.
