Welcome to the Information Dominance Corps (IDC) Community Manager’s page. This web page is designed to provide helpful information on the IDC community to include general guidance on accessing into the IDC as well as information for current IDC officers.
The IDC Community Managers collectively manage the health and welfare of officer communities with Information Professional (1820), Information Warfare (1810), Cyber Warfare Engineer (1840), Intelligence (1830), and Oceanography (1800) designators. Where appropriate, we are involved in LDO and CWO issues for 642X/742X, 644X/744X, 645X/745X, 743X and 646X designators. The community manager for these designators can be found at the .
Prospective IDC Officers
If you are new to the Navy, a training attrite or interested in a lateral transfer, please go to the respective community website for initial information and consult any and all of the IDC OCMs so you can make the most informed decision possible. To begin the lateral transfer process, submit your application in accordance with the lateral transfer website.
IDC Officer Reserve Recall
Periodically, the IDC will advertise reserve recall opportunities. These opportunities are managed by the IDC OCMs. To apply for a recall, please follow the guidance at the reserve officer recall website.
All IDC reserve recall packages should be submitted to the appropriate IDC OCM, see contact info below.
