Welcome to the homepage of the enlisted Administrative (Admin)/Media Community. The Admin/Media Community is comprised of 8 ratings encompassing 15,000 Sailors from Active Component and Fulltime Support – Personnel Specialist (PS), Yeoman (YN), Legalman (LN), Musician (MU), Mass Communications Specialist (MC), Navy Counselor (NC), Navy Counselor Career Recruiter (NCR), Canvasser Recruiter (CANREC Program), and Religious Program Specialist (RP). The Admin/Media Enlisted Community Manager performs a broad range of community management functions. Specific functions include but are not limited to develop recruiting requirements, establish A and C school requirements, set advancement quotas, set Enlisted FLEETRIDE/Perform to Serve (PTS) quotas/Career Reenlistment Objectives (CREO)/ Rating Entry for General Apprentices (REGA) guidelines, establish and monitor sea/shore flow, establish and monitor career development, set Selective Reenlistment Bonus (SRB), Special Duty Assignment Pay (SDAP) and Enlistment Bonus (EB) levels and analyze impact of proposed policy changes on the communities.
Community Health Slides are published monthly and posted for Senior Leadership, Career Counselors and most importantly Sailors to be informed of the rating status. Please review the for assistance in understanding your Perform to Serve opportunity for an in-rate PTS quota or convert-in PTS quota.
Perform to Serve
Sailors are encouraged to read all NAVADMINs to stay informed of the policy changes that impact your career. Be attentive of when you come into the PTS window (15 months prior to SEAOS/PRD) and ensure applications are submitted in the FLEETRIDE system on time to maximize opportunity for PTS selection. PTS quotas are managed and distributed by Year Group (YG). The ADSD establishes the YG in which you compete for a quota. Sailors not selected for in-rate quotas after 3 PTS applications are encouraged to seek conversion quotas for additional opportunities. Click here for FleetRIDE.

Review the community health slide for the year group reflecting convert-in opportunity to see if you are in the appropriate year group then speak to your Career Counselor for further guidance.
