State of Service - Enlisted Only 

Enlisted statements of service are issued by PERS-312 only when the commands have exhausted all means of determining the correct Pay Entry Base Date (PEBD) and Active Duty Service Date (ADSD).

• The PEBD is the actual or constructive date of entry into service.
• The ADSD is the actual or adjusted date from which the amount of active military service performed is calculated. The ADSD reflects all periods of active federal military service in commissioned officer, warrant officer, or enlisted status.

The Officer Retirement Branch (PERS-8353) prepares PEBD/ADSD statements for officers.

The Officer Retirement Branch (PERS-8353) prepares statements of service for Transfer to Fleet Reserve for enlisted and officers.

The Reserve Officer Status Branch, PEBD Section (PERS-911) prepares statements of service for officers on inactive duty.
