NASA is now accepting applications to the Astronaut Candidate Program via the USAJOBS website!  You must complete the USAJOBS portion of your application NLT 27 January 2012.

NAVADMIN 362/11 has been released announcing the Navy Astronaut Candidate Selection Board!  The Navy NASA Astronaut Candidate Selection Board is scheduled to convene on 1 May 2012.

Navy applicants to NASA’s Astronaut Candidate Program must also be screened by the Navy Astronaut Candidate Selection Board.   Please note:  You are still required to submit your online application to NASA by 27 Jan 2012 through the USAJOBS website.  A copy of your USAJOBS application will then be submitted as part of your application to the Navy NASA Astronaut Candidate Selection Board.

Applications and endorsements are due to Navy Personnel Command NLT 15 March 2012.

The new BUPERSINST 1401.4E has been signed and has superseded BUPERSINST 1401.4D
