 Commander Kevin Robb hails from Syracuse, NY and is a 1998 graduate of the United States Naval Academy.  He received his   wings of gold at NAS Kingsville, TX in September of 2000 and reported to the VF-101 Grim Reapers at NAS Oceana for initial training in the F-14 Tomcat.  In January of 2002 he joined VF-211 aboard the USS JOHN C. STENNIS in the North Indian Ocean conducting strike operations in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM (OEF).  During his time at the Checkmates of VF-211, he made another deployment aboard USS ENTERPRISE in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM (OIF) and OEF. 
In the summer of 2004, he reported to VFA-122 Flying Eagles at NAS Lemoore for a transition to the F/A-18 E/F and instructor duty.  While at VFA-122, he became Carrier Qualification Phase Head, and in April of 2007 was selected to fill a CAG Landing Signals Officer (LSO) position with CVW-11 as they left on deployment aboard the USS NIMITZ to support both OIF and OEF.  He then deployed again as CAG LSO with the CVW-11/NIMITZ team to the 7th Fleet AOR in January of 2008 through July of 2008, and was selected as the Pacific Fleet LSO of the year in 2008. 
After his CAG LSO tour, CDR Robb received orders to the VFA-31 Tomcatters as a department head where he served as both the Maintenance Officer and Operations Officer.  He made his fifth deployment aboard the USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH in spring of 2011 supporting Operation New Dawn and OEF.  In late fall of 2011, he reported to the Naval War College as a student, and graduated with distinction in fall of 2012. 
While at the Naval War College he was selected for his first staff assignment to the Joint Staff, J-7, Joint Training Directorate.  He served as a part of Joint Training from December 2012 to December 2014, and in the Spring of 2013 was selected for Strike Fighter command. After completing training at VFA-106, in November 2015 CDR Robb reported as the VFA-213 Executive Officer. In February 2017 he took command of VFA-213 aboard USS George HW Bush (CVN-77), leading the Blacklions in strikes supporting Operation INHERENT RESOLVE.
CDR Robb has accumulated over 3000 flight hours and 600 arrested landings.  His decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Strike Flight Air Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and various unit and campaign awards.
