Command Master Chief Scott Miceli
Command Master Chief Scott Christopher Miceli was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and entered the Navy in March 1991. After completion of Naval Recruit Training Center Orlando, Florida, he attended Avation Structural Mechanic Hydraulics "A" school in Millington, TN.
Upon completion of "A" school he reported to VP-66 NAS Willow Grove, PA in September 1991. Follow on tours include VP-64, and again VP-66 where he was selected as the 2003 Command Sailor of the Year. In May 2004, he reported to HS-75, NAS Jacksonville, Florida where he was selected for the rank of Chief Petty Officer. In September 2006, he reported to HSL-60, Naval Station Mayport. It was during this tour that he stood up a detachment and led a highly successful six month deployment onboard the USS SAMUEL B ROBERTS (FFG 58). Shortly after being promoted to Senior Chief Petty Officer, he reported to VP-62 where he led a highly successful maintenance department. He was then promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer and served as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader. Master Chief Miceli reported to VFA-15 in December of 2012 where he currently serves as Command Master Chief.
Master Chief Miceli is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy and Command Leadership School. He also holds a Bachelors degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle University with minors in Management and Safety. Additionally, he has a FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
His personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), Navy Good Conduct Award (six awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
Master Chief Miceli is married to the former Christina Smith and they have a 16 year old son, Christopher, and a 10 year old daughter, Jessica.
