 AC1 (AW/SW) KARIM TILLEY

Petty Officer  Karim Tilley is a native of Philadelphia, P.A. As the Radar Branch Chief assigned to FACSFAC VACAPES, he is directly responsible for leading 54 Air Traffic Controllers in the completion of more than 63,000 highly complex flight operations covering 46 major Joint Forces Exercises.  As a result of his superb performance, he was selected as FACSFAC VACAPES' Sailor of the Year 2012.

 EN2 HEATHER LANE

Petty Offier Heather Lane is a native of Oakland, California.  As the First Lieutenant Leading Petty Officer while assigned to FACSFAC VACAPES, she leads over 12 Sailors and manages Command MWR finances as treasurer.  Her extraordinary performance resulted in her selection of FACSFAC VACAPES Junior Sailor of the Year for 2012.

 ET3 HEATHER SPARKS

Petty Officer Heather Sparks grew up in Tupelo, MS and joined the Navy in May 2012.  She completed ET"A" school in March 2011 and attended "C" school for SAS Maintenance Technician before transferring to her current duty station FACSFAC VACAPES. Currently she is the HAZMAT Custodian, responsible for all hazardous material coming in and out of FACSFAC. Additionally she is the Maintenance Department Training Petty Officer. She is pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Old Dominion University.  Her extraordinary performance has led to her selection as Blue Jacket of The Year.
