Information About Us
The MH-60R employs a modular design referring o the ability to modify weapon systems to match specific mission requirements. The modular design gives this single platform the agility to provide greater surveillance and flexibility capabilities, as well as more options for multiple mission requirements.
The MH-60R will incorprate the AQS-22 Airborn Low Frequency Sonar, Sonobuoys Acoustic Processing, ALS-210 Electronic Support Measures, APS-147 Multi-Mode Radar AAS-44C MTS FLIR, and Integrated Self Defense Suite, and an Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals System.
A dipping sonar and sonobuoy combination increases MH-60R capabilities, as does the improved processing power of the acoustic processor and colorized acoustic displays.
The MH-60R "glass cockpit" provides improved readability and accessibility for the pilots by providing a graphic portrayal of the helicopter with key flight indicators plus a reduction of cost maintenance.
The MH-60R is capable of operating on Frigate, Destroyers, Cruisers, and Carriers with a mission to provide:
- Command Control and Communications
- Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW)
