Daniel Marsch
Command Master Chief,United States Navy

Master Chief Marsch is a native of San Diego, CA and enlisted in the Navy on May 9th, 1988. He completed recruit training at RTC San Diego and Damage Control “A” school at Naval Technical Training Center, Treasure Island, CA.

His duty assignments include USS FLINT (AE-32), Concord, CA; USS LEAHY (CG-16), San Diego, CA; Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATG), San Diego, CA; Fleet Training Center, San Diego, CA; USS VALLEY FORGE (CG-50), San Diego, CA; USS CONSTELLATION (CV-64), San Diego, CA; Afloat Training Group Middle Pacific, Pearl Harbor, HI; USS CHOSIN (CG-65), Pearl Harbor, HI; USS NIMITZ (CVN-68), San Diego, CA.

CMDCM Marsch was selected to the Command Master Chief program in 2010 and reported to the Argonauts of VFA-147 in Lemoore, CA, deploying aboard the USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN-76). In August 2012, Command Master Chief Marsch reported to the Black Knights of HSC-4 in Coronado, CA.

Master Chief Marsch’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy-Marine Corps Commendation Medal (six awards), Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards) and various campaign and service decorations.
