Welcome to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron THREE, the best Fleet Replacement Squadron in the Navy. We are located aboard NAS North Island in San Diego. You must be excited about your upcoming move and may have questions or concerns about the Command and the local area, especially if this is your first tour in San Diego. We want to ensure all new check-ins experience a smooth transition, both for you and your families. As soon as we recieve your orders you will be assigned a sponsor and a welcome aboard package will be mailed to you. If you are currently under orders and have not yet been contacted by a sponsor, please contact the commands sponsorship coordinator (link), who will assure one is assigned imediately. Once your sponsor is assigned, work with them to coordinate the details of your arrival. If you have any family matters or concerns, please let your sponsor know so they can assist as necessary.
If you are arriving by plane and require transportation, advise your sponsor of your flight information or call the HSC-3 Quarterdeck and we will pick you up. Assistance for arriving personal is also available to the USO located below Terminal 2 Skywalk. For additional information about San Diego, visit the Relocation Assistance Manager at the nearest Fleet and Family Service Center (FFSC). The Center will provide information about the San Diego area available support services that include housing, childcare, schools, spouse employment and more.
