Our Squadrons
Carrier Air Wing SEVENTEEN is presently composed of 8 squadrons. They are VFA-22 flying the F/A-18F Super Hornet, VFA-25 flying the F/A-18C Hornet, VFA-81 flying the F/A-18E Super Hornet, VFA-113 flying the F/A-18C Hornet, VAW-125 flying the E-2C Hawkeye, VAQ-134 flying the E/A-6B Prowler, HS-15 flying the SH-60F and HH-60H Seahawk, and VRC-40 Det 5 flying the C-2A Greyhound. Carrier Air Wing SEVENTEEN is currently attached to USS Carl Vinson (CVN70), which is home ported in San Diego, CA.
